LLC «Kvant group» develop complex scientific istruments and owns all the required competencies to achieve the goals set by the company. Employees of the company put into operation several large unified technological scientific complexes at the National Research Center «Kurchatov Institute», such as the synchrotron station for phase-sensitive methods of condensed matter studies «FAZA» and the synchrotron station for photoelectron spectroscopy, having completed a full list of works to achieve the task:

Organization of import substitution

LLC «Kvant Group», together with representatives of large commercial companies, is working on topical issues of import substitution, primarily in the direction of «reverse engineering», which allows to organize the fabrication of the most critical elements of different equipment on the basis of existing samples with application of non-destructive control methods.

The issue of reverse engineering is most relevant for industrial areas that are most saturated with import equipment, in particular, in the field of oil and gas processing and production.

Together with one of the specialized institutes of PJSC LUKOIL, work is underway to develop algorithms and a specific request for reverse engineering work using non-destructive testing methods based on the practical application of neutron and synchrotron studies.

It is also planned to apply the obtained developments in the framework of cooperation with other companies, such as PJSC NK Rosneft, PJSC Gazprom Neft, PJSC Gazprom.

It is important to note the impossibility of implementing the tasks of reverse engineering and import substitution without the use of non-destructive testing methods implemented on the basis of MEGA-class research complexes, in particular research reactors and synchrotrons.

Equipment localization

Within the framework of cooperation between LLC «Kvant group» and partner companies, an active search for manufacturers of high-tech equipment in Japan, Europe and China is carried out in accord to the current request of scientific instrumentation. In particular, turbomolecular vacuum pumps, precision positioning devices, sample environment and registration systems of ionizing radiation, are the instrument components which are searched with the aim of subsequent localization on the territory of the Russian Federation.
